Sattler Media Press is equipped with the most recent high-end technology – from prepress over printing to post-processing. We know what customers expect from us – that’s why it’s understood that we always offer digital solutions on the highest possible level. We are always searching for new, innovative solutions and are always open for new ideas.

Prepress

We use the newest technology in hard- and software for computer to plate (CTP) imaging, with the necessary data (in the form of PDF files) transferred via internet and several 10-Mbit lines. Server-based PreFlight hotfolders provide the verification of the incoming data in real-time. For quality control we use ICC-Color-Management and four AGFA-Sherpa-High-End-Proofer to guarantee color fidelity. Our employees in the typesetting and proofing departments (which work in a 3-shift system) make sure that customers without their own publicity department will receive a flawless top-class printing product. Four AGFA-XCalibur CTP platesetters in two locations are the technological backbone of our digital prepress.

Printing

This is where it all happens. The paper webs run between rubber sheets and the printing machine and are printed on both sides. Our manroland LITHOMAN and ROTOMAN printing machines belong to the most advanced products. Their high performance potential and exceptional printing quality, as well as the automated printing process ensures top quality with a minimum assignment of personnel:

• One web offset 48-page format LITHOMAN machine
• Three web offset 32-page format LITHOMAN machines
• One web offset 16-page format ROTOMAN machine

Subsequent Processing

Stapling, folding, enclosing – after the printing process we offer you various unique possibilities:

Next to our inline-folding and cutting machines we offer you the possibility to merge sheet segments with our FERAG gatherer-stitcher drum offline – no matter if they were delivered or printed by us. Our gatherer-stitcher drum SHT can be loaded from six roll-print stations, making it possible to even produce comprehensive catalogs without any difficulty.

Surely we can also take care of the enclosure of supplements and also here our FERAG gatherer-stitcher drum offers a lot of possibilities. Up to six supplements can be enclosed with our Thorsted inserting lines quickly and precisely. There are various technical possibilities, even optional wishes can be fulfilled.

Shipping and Logistics

Our locations in Magdeburg and Hornburg have a daily output of several hundred pallets of printed matter. In order for your publications to arrive at their destination in time we’ve got our logistics experts working for 24 hours a day. Together with our reliable partners for shipping we secure a delivery on schedule. Even for publications in large quantities with address printing and a lot of plate changes we guarantee a correct and timely delivery. On this you can rely!
